With 12 years of professional experience, my practice combines traditional reverence with contemporary expertise. Born and raised in Lancaster County, I developed an intuitive understanding of local building traditions and vernacular architecture before formal training ever began. This deep connection to regional materials and methods provides invaluable insight into how these structures were originally conceived and constructed.

This local foundation was expanded through rigorous academic training – a Bachelor of Architecture from Penn State University followed by a Master of Architecture from the Center of Architecture Science and Ecology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where cutting-edge building science meets environmental stewardship. Time spent living in Brooklyn and Rome further enriched this perspective, revealing how timeless design principles transcend geography while local materials and traditions create authentic sense of place.
