Working primarily within 50 miles of Lancaster County, we've developed intimate knowledge of regional building traditions and local craftspeople essential to executing projects that honor both heritage and modern living standards.

Meet the Owner

With 12 years of professional experience, my practice combines traditional reverence with contemporary expertise. Born and raised in Lancaster County, I developed an intuitive understanding of local building traditions and vernacular architecture before formal training ever began. This deep connection to regional materials and methods provides invaluable insight into how these structures were originally conceived and constructed and how they can continue to serve modern living.

This local foundation was expanded through rigorous academic training, a Bachelor of Architecture from Penn State University followed by a Master of Architecture from the Center of Architecture Science and Ecology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where cutting-edge building science meets environmental stewardship. Time spent living in Brooklyn and Rome further enriched this perspective, revealing how timeless design principles transcend geography while local materials and traditions create an authentic sense of place.

This unique combination of knowledge of Lancaster County's building heritage, cutting-edge technical education, and exposure to diverse architectural traditions enables me to honor local vernacular while integrating modern systems invisibly into historic structures, ensuring contemporary comfort while preserving authentic character.
